For our military-impacted students who may be in Hawaii for only a few years of their lives, I want them to leave our island state with a deeper understanding of the responsibility we all share to preserve our environment for the next generation.Jan Iwasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04216120028897855975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7590918872469407399.post-53825616343073886612012-08-12T11:12:40.331-07:002012-08-12T11:12:40.331-07:00Aloha Principal,

This experience will be one that probably can't be measured with the simple multiple choice questions you typically find on these assessments, questions like, what phylum are sea urchins found in or what percentage of the engineered feed is kelp meal. These students are now part of something much bigger than themselves. They are part of a project that will show them the interconnection of all their subjects as well as their interconnection to the island they call home.MontanaTeachersAtSeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17291159178239963334noreply@blogger.com
